SMITH TUITION SCHOLARSHIP
The Smith Tuition Scholarship was established to help a Perry Tech student who is working hard to improve their life by attending school but is incurring significant debt to do so. This scholarship will pay 100% of the remaining tuition for one student currently enrolled in a 2-year program at PTI.
A committee of Perry Tech volunteers will conduct in-person interviews with the finalists, and applicants must be available and present at the interviews.
Each quarter, the recipient will be asked to submit a letter to the donor describing their progress in the program.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Electrical Technology
- Heating, Ventilation, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Information Technology & Communication Systems
- Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics Technology
- Must be in the 2nd half of your program and have at least two quarters remaining in the program.
- Must have loans or a SIA (Student Aid Index) score of 5,000 or greater.
- Must have a direct deposit account.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Submit a completed and typed application.
- Provide contact information for 2 professional references.
- Print your name on all attachments.
