The 1-year Medical Assistant program teaches students about the human body in health and disease, medical terminology, pharmacology, clinical procedures, practice management, electronic health records, coding & billing, and includes an externship component to provide students with real-world experience prior to graduation. Additionally, course curriculum focuses on business related computer applications, English, presentation and communication.
