The 1-year Agricultural & Diesel Equipment Technician program prepares students for entry-level careers in agricultural, construction and diesel powered equipment industries. Students study electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems in addition to powertrain theory while having the opportunity to participate in an early-start externship program where they can advance their new skills.
As the use of high-tech equipment and implements expands, industries often depend upon technicians with the right combination of technical skills and mechanical abilities. Upon graduation from Perry Tech, graduates typically work in entry-level positions where there is a need for someone to maintain and repair a wide array of equipment.
