Foundation History

The Perry Technical Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1993, to support the needs of students attending Perry Technical Institute. Through development with private donors, employers, community partners, and grant opportunities, the Foundation seeks support to finance three fundamental initiatives:

  • A comprehensive scholarship program
  • Educational programming by means of equipment needs and capital improvement projects
  • Provide loan assistance if financial aid or other methods of support are not available

In 2019-2020, Perry Technical Foundation awarded students with more than $400,000 in scholarship support.

In 2021, Perry Technical Foundation awarded an additional $120,000 in scholarships thanks to the first “Win A Home” raffle fundraiser.
