Education Level: 2026 High school graduate or adult-learner returning to school
Field of Study: Automotive repair
Award Amount: 5 winners, $5,000 each

The Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship, now in its second year, supports students pursuing education and training in automotive repair and service. The awards are intended to help recipients offset the cost of tuition, tools, books, supplies, and other education-related expenses as they prepare for careers in the automotive industry.

The scholarship program, part of Autel Cares, the company’s philanthropic initiative, was created to recognize and support hardworking students committed to building a future in the automotive repair industry. This year, Autel is expanding eligibility to include not only recent high school graduates, but also adult learners who are returning to school or transitioning from another career into automotive education.

Any trade school, college or university student who graduated high school in 2026 or is an adult learner and returning to school may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are pursuing an automotive repair program. Candidates pursuing any automotive repair discipline will be considered, including mechanical repair, tire and rim service, glass repair, collision repair, locksmithing, heavy-duty/diesel repair, ADAS calibration, automotive diagnostics, and related fields.

To apply, students should submit either a 500- to 600-word essay or a 2- to 3-minute video. Tell us about the path that led you to pursue automotive repair education.
