The ATE Ballistic Helmet Scholarship Fund give scholarships to those who are pursuing a degree in law enforcement or skilled trades. Applicants must be pursuing careers in the fields of law enforcement or skilled trades full time and must be accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited two-year American university.
Scholarship Details
- Amount: $1,000
- Open to students pursuing careers in law enforcement or skilled trades
- Financial assistance provided toward an academy, university, or trade program
- Law enforcement recipients receive a free ballistic helmet upon program completion
- Skilled trades recipients receive a hard hat upon program completion
- Award supports both degree-seeking students and those in certified training programs
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in a city/state law enforcement academy, university degree program, or certified law enforcement training course
- Applicants for skilled trades must be enrolled in a qualified trade program (e.g., electrician, welder, carpenter)
- Demonstrated commitment to completing the program and entering the respective field
