Tool Scholarship

Hourglass Tools of the Trade: $2,000 (two separate scholarships will be awarded)

ELIGIBILITY

Age Criteria: Applicant must be between 16 and 28 years of age as of January 2026.

Must be a U.S. high school senior, high school graduate or an individual with a GED certificate who is continuing their education at either a trade school or community college program. Area of study must be in Automotive Repair or Automotive Technology, Engineering Tech or Skilled Trade Programs (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction). Consideration will be based on financial need, academic achievement, and community service record/extracurricular activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Post-secondary GPA of 2.0 or higher
Enrollment in one of the following areas of study Auto Technology, Auto Mechanic, Diesel, Collision Program or Skilled Trade Program (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Construction etc.)
Completed essay question based on scholarship you are applying for
2 letters of recommendation
Official post-secondary transcript
Completed essay (see below for details)
Listing of extracurricular/volunteer activities (if applicable)
Completed description/essay of financial need
1-2 minute video submission
Signed model release form (part of the online application form)
