Scholarship Details

WASHINGTON APPLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

 

 

The Technical/Vocational scholarship application is for students pursing a technical/vocational certificate or a two-year technical/vocational degree and have a direct tie to the tree fruit industry, including parent or personal employment in the industry or ownership of a tree fruit orchard or warehouse. Tree fruit industry employment includes employment in an apple, cherry, pear or stone fruit company (orchard, warehouse etc.) or a company directly serving the apple, cherry, pear, or stone fruit producers.

Student must be pursuing a certificate or two-year degree in one of the following fields: auto repair/mechanic, automotive technology, computer application, construction building and trades, diesel mechanic, electrical, electronics, HVAC, industrial systems technology, information technology, instrumentation, logistics control, machine programming, machine technology, mechanized irrigation systems, network administration, project management, refrigeration, welding, or other technical agriculture related.
