Put your people skills to work as a medical assistant.
Perry Tech’s one-year Medical Assistant program will prepare you for an entry-level position in a career that is both rewarding and in demand. Medical assistants work alongside doctors and nurses in all types and sizes of physicians’ offices, clinics, and hospitals.
The program teaches both basic office skills and clinical and patient care skills. Medical assistants measure vital signs, help with exams and procedures, give injections, remove sutures, and prepare specimens for the laboratory.
As a medical assistant, your skills are in demand as physicians look for ways to deliver care in a more efficient and cost effective manner.
