Overview

Duties
Assist senior plumbers with pipe installation, assembly, and system maintenance on construction sites
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to support accurate plumbing work
Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
Support the installation of plumbing systems in compliance with local building codes and safety protocols
Participate in pipe threading, welding, and other mechanical tasks under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety procedures at all times
Contribute to troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing routine repairs as directed
Experience
Prior construction experience or exposure to construction sites is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and mechanical concepts is advantageous
Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is a plus
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment effectively and responsibly
Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with team members or clients
Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, building code compliance, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
