Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of industrial equipment and farm machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulics, tire service, and heavy lifting. This role requires the ability to assemble and fabricate components as needed while ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
Work with hydraulics systems to diagnose and repair faults.
Conduct tire service, including installation, balancing, and repairs.
Operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely during repair processes.
Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
Fabricate parts as necessary to support repair or maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role within the mechanics or industrial equipment field.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems and their applications.
Familiarity with farm machinery operations and maintenance practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Experience operating cranes or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation of equipment or travel between job sites.
Must provide acceptable driving record with minimum/no violations in order to drive company vehicles.
Bilingual is a plus.
