Dunn Wright Plumbing is a growing plumbing company serving the Spokane area. We're looking for a dependable Plumbing Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, develop their skills, and build a career in plumbing.
We're looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn from experienced plumbers, and take pride in doing the job right.
The Position
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced plumbers and gain hands-on experience with residential and commercial plumbing.
You'll learn how to diagnose problems, perform repairs and installations, use plumbing tools and equipment, and complete work safely and according to plumbing code.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make plumbing a career and is willing to put in the work to become a skilled plumber.
Responsibilities
Assist journeymen and other plumbers with plumbing installations and repairs
Learn and perform basic plumbing tasks under appropriate supervision
Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing problems
Help install and repair water, drain, waste, vent, and other plumbing systems
Safely operate plumbing tools and equipment
Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Clean up job sites and properly dispose of materials
Follow safety procedures and plumbing codes
Communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers
Learn from experienced plumbers and continually develop trade skills
Perform other duties related to plumbing work as needed
Requirements
Willingness to learn and work hard
Reliable and dependable
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the job
Professional attitude and appearance
Willingness to work in a variety of residential and commercial environments
Previous plumbing experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
