Description:
Multi-functional fabrication role responsible for CNC laser cutting, press brake forming, waterjet operation, nesting, material flow, and in-process quality. This position requires ownership of setup, operation, maintenance, and part quality throughout fabrication.

Duties/Responsibilities:
CNC Laser & Waterjet Operation
Operate CNC laser (Bystronic) and waterjet (Omax) equipment to produce parts to print and quality requirements
Load/unload raw material and manage cut part flow
Sort, organize, and stage parts for downstream operations
Perform drilling and tapping using designated stations
Monitor cutting performance and adjust programs as needed
Perform maintenance including consumables and troubleshooting
Signal material shortages and support production continuity
Press Brake Operation
Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment (Bystronic)
Select tooling and programs based on part requirements
Perform first-piece inspection and make adjustments
Run production maintaining quality and efficiency
Adjust bend programs to correct issues
Perform maintenance and upkeep
Nesting, Material Flow & Production Support
Perform nesting to optimize material usage
Support scheduling and prioritization
Manage material flow and work-in-process
Deliver parts and coordinate offsite processing
Maintain organized work area
Quality & Inspection
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Identify and correct quality issues
Report non-conformances clearly
Maintain accountability for part quality
Support continuous improvement
General Responsibilities

Required Skills/Abilities:
Operate CNC cutting and forming equipment accurately
Read and interpret technical drawings (basic blueprint reading)
Adjust programs to correct issues
Strong attention to detail and quality
Mechanical aptitude for maintenance
Ability to prioritize work
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with ownership
Must communicate in English
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
2+ years CNC cutting equipment experience
2+ years CNC press brake experience
Bystronic experience preferred
Omax waterjet experience preferred
Nesting software experience preferred
Programming experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for extended periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Handle sheet metal and sharp edges
Bend, reach, and move as required
Work in varying noise environments
