Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pipe Welder to join our team for on-site fabrication and installation of stainless steel piping. This is an on-site position at our location, making it a great opportunity for a motivated trade school graduate or entry-level welder looking to build a career. You must be able to pass a practical hands-on welding test to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding on stainless steel pipe.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Follow strict welding procedures and specifications to ensure strong, clean welds.
• Perform pipe preparation tasks, including cutting, grinding, and beveling.
• Execute precise pipe layout and fitting prior to welding.
• Be a team player and tackle other general shop or site tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Completion of an accredited Welding or Pipe Fabrication program (recent grads highly encouraged).
• Testing: Must be able to pass a practical on-site welding test.
• Strong proficiency in both GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and follow weld procedures.
• Hands-on experience using pipe cutters, grinders, and layout tools.
• Reliable transportation to our location in the Chelan area.
• Flexibility and a willingness to help out with "other jobs as needed."
