Job Summary: We’re looking for a talented and dependable Woodshop Worker who enjoys working with wood, operating tools and equipment, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. In this hands-on role, you’ll create custom wood projects for our customers as part of Windsor Plywood Kennewick’s woodshop services. You’ll work on a variety of shop projects including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, restoring, sanding, and finishing wood and other materials with precision and care. You’ll use hand tools and woodworking machinery while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
Measure, mark, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately according to project specifications
Operate table saws, miter saws, planers, sanders, routers, and other woodworking equipment safely and effectively
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete woodworking projects
Build, assemble, and finish custom wood products and components
Sand, stain, seal, and finish materials to achieve a high-quality finished product
Read and follow project specifications, drawings, measurements, and customer requirements
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper fit
Repair, refurbish, and restore existing wood products as needed
Work with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers about their projects
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe working condition
Follow all shop safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment
Order, receive, organize, and maintain wood, materials, and shop supplies
Perform other shop and store duties as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous woodworking, cabinetry, carpentry, furniture-making, or related experience
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Experience operating woodworking machinery preferred
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with measurements
Ability to follow technical drawings, specifications, and written or verbal instructions
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to determine practical solutions to woodworking challenges
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized shop
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and customers
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
Must be comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment where sawdust, noise, and physical activity are part of the job

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
