## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team Part Time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong background in medical-surgical procedures, administrative support, and inpatient services.
## Responsibilities
- Provide medical administrative support including patient answering phone calls, scheduling and record-keeping.
- Assist healthcare providers in all patient care aspects within licensure compliance
- Perform job duties with a focus on delivering high-quality patient service
- Conduct patient intake procedures including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed, including inhalation treatments and immunizations
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Perform phlebotomy on patients to obtain ordered laboratory testing.
## Experience
- Proven experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical office operations
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant required
