Legacy Plumbing & Mechanical is seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. We specialize primarily in commercial and new construction plumbing projects throughout the Puget Sound area.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in the plumbing trade. This position will work alongside experienced journeyman plumbers while gaining hands-on experience in all phases of commercial plumbing construction.
Responsibilities
Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems
Assist with domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm, and gas piping systems
Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing plans
Assist with underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing
Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing components
Assist with installation of plumbing fixtures and equipment
Learn proper layout and installation methods
Maintain tools, materials, and an organized work area
Follow direction from journeyman plumbers, foremen, and project management
Follow company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements
Work efficiently while maintaining Legacy Plumbing & Mechanical's quality standards
Qualifications
Active Washington State L&I Plumber Trainee Card required
Interest in developing a long-term career in the plumbing trade
Ability and willingness to learn commercial plumbing installation
Dependable and able to consistently arrive at jobsites on time
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of construction work
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Ability to maintain a professional presence on commercial jobsites

License/Registration:

Work Location: Various commercial jobsites throughout the Puget Sound area
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
