NWAD is a General Motors factory partner (Wholesaler) and Ford 3 party logistics, covering the Pacific Northwest. We have an immediate opening for a Tire Technician/Warehouse Associate. NWAD offers a wide variety of auto accessories and new wheels & tires for passenger vehicles, light/heavy duty trucks and SUVs. Hours of operations are Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
Stock and assist with physical inventory of wheels, tires & components.
Maintain tools and equipment to insure efficient operating condition.
Palletize mounted sets for ship out.
Operate a forklift, order picker & pallet jack.
Process all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Observe all safety rules and procedure.
Breakdown boxes and keep a clean and safe work space.
Learn to dismount and mount tires onto rims.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to use and/or willing to learn computerized tire changing/balancing equipment.
Repetitive and sustained exertions.
1-year applicable experience as Tire Technician preferred.
Execute multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and composure.
Ability to communicate effectively associates and management.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/carry up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the work day.
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record and be able to pass a Washington State drug screening.
