Way Scarff Ford and Isuzu is looking for a certified Isuzu Technician for our medium duty truck shop. This position is a Monday thru Friday day shift, 7:30am to 4:00pm. No weekends. Must have your own tools, valid and insurable drivers license and be dependable. We offer paid training, dedicated work stalls, vacation time and lots of work.
Responsibilities
·Diagnose, Repair, Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Work quality must be a top priority!
· Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
· Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
· Repair or replace broken or defective parts to resolve issues
· Provide accurate estimates (time and effort) for a repair or maintenance job
· Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Skills
· Proven experience in truck repair industry and certifications
· Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical components of vehicles
· Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
· Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
· Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
· High school diploma is required; Certification from a vocational school is preferred
· Valid ASE certification a plus
