Wages and compensation:
$35.00+ (overtime after 40 Hr./week)
401K retirement with up to 5% company match

Job Description:
Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period this is a full-time permanent position
Troubleshoot issues at Valence facilities and mobile equipment
Identify and correct electrical and instrumentation issues
Calibrate and maintain transmitters and flow meters
Troubleshoot control systems
Troubleshoot mechanical issues such as pumps, valves, and regulators
Repair / rebuild mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and regulators
Follow all Valence Natural Gas Solutions policies and procedures
Manage the work of external consultants, vendors, and fabricators to complete tasks
Promote and reinforce Valence’s Environmental, Health and Safety Standards and attributes
Perform other related duties, as required
Monday thru Friday as well as on call rotation schedule. o Some overtime may be required as business needs require
Extensive job and skills training is provided along with continuous education to assist with job performance and advancement
Operate Valence vehicles in a safe manner
Utilize available technology for, work hour tracking, training, daily reports, work order requests, safety hazard identification, etc.
Utilize proper operating and safety procedures for all activities by operating within the Valence Safety Program and recognizing safety hazards and identifying safety hazards through Valence’s Velocity software.
Work to meet goals and performance measurement metrics that have been set by Valence to ensure Valence operations are at peak performance

Skills Required:
Basic computer knowledge and ability to utilize various software platforms as well as: o Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel
5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry minimum
Experience with equipment fabrication including pressure piping, pressure vessels, instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment; experience with equipment commissioning and start-up
Experience in natural gas processing (i.e. compression, expansion, refrigeration, dehydration, gas sweetening and liquids recovery)
Work with hand tools
Understand and be able to read PID, electrical drawings & schematics
Understand wiring and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI and communication panels
Understand and be able to use a multimeter, amp clamp, other electrical troubleshooting tools
Understanding and deciphering of ladder logic for Natural Gas processing facilities
Understanding of PLC, HMI and DCS programming systems to be able to redownload/download programming for new and lost programming issues.
Ability to lift 50lbs
Prepared to work onsite in the elements
High level of initiative and ability to complete tasks on schedule and budget
Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle
Advanced mechanical aptitude

Working Conditions:
Primarily site oriented along with shop time for specific maintenance tasks, with specific office duties for training, meetings, documentation of required tasks as required by customers, the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Valence must comply
Must be willing to work as required to support Valence operations
Must be willing to respond to emergencies that may require working shifts longer than 12 hours for several consecutive days
Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions

Physical Requirements:
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test as well as random drug screenings during employment
Able to PASS a DOT Physical Exam (hearing exam, vision exam, able to lift 50+vpounds, and coordination)

Education/Experience:
Candidate must at least have a high school diploma or GED
5-years Natural Gas/Oil Field experience is required
Any additional vocational training and/or work experience is a plus
