Shop Fabricator
Cascade Fire Protection is looking for a Shop Fabricator. This position will assist, when necessary, with the duties listed below. Additionally, the ideal candidate will maintain the organization and efficiency of the shop supplies and processes.
The starting hourly wage for this is position is $25.00 per hour; however, compensation may vary depending on experience.
Job Qualifications
Construction industry experience is preferred
Fabrication experience is a plus
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to calculate quantities or products on hand
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Mechanically Inclined
Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company policy
Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, reference and background check
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
Job Responsibilities
Fabricate welding and threaded pipe
Custom fabrication i.e. - carts pipe racks, fixing older and/or broken- down parts on machines, trucks, tools, etc.
New fabrication ideas for the shop, yard, trucks, and field
Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Cascade Fire Protection's safety operating procedures
Maintain a clean shop/yard and ensure that special tools and shop equipment are in proper operating conditions
Other duties as assigned
