Position Impact
This is an entry-level field position designed to build your skills from the ground up. Working alongside experienced mentors, you will learn to service, diagnose, and maintain critical cooling and standby power systems. This role is a fast-paced gateway into high-demand technical field services.

Core Responsibilities
HVAC & Cooling Systems Training
• Assist with routine preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Learn to diagnose basic refrigeration, electrical, and airflow issues.
• Help senior technicians replace components of mechanical cooling systems.
• Conduct performance and safety checks under direct supervision.

Generator & Standby Power Systems Training
• Assist with basic maintenance and testing on commercial standby generators.
• Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Help install and check fuel lines, water pumps, and electronic control lines.
• Document system readings and complete daily digital work reports.

Site Operations & Safety
• Learn and strictly follow OSHA, EPA, and FCC safety standards.
• Shadow senior technicians on emergency service call-outs.
• Maintain an organized, fully stocked company service vehicle.
• Keep client data sites and telecom shelters clean and safe.

Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Graduate of an accredited HVAC, electrical, or mechanical trade school program preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 years of field experience; we will fully train the right candidate.
• Certification: Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification is required.
• OEM Exposure Plus: Basic familiarity or school lab exposure to Vertiv cooling or Generac / Polar / CAT generators is a plus.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical baseline and a passion for hands-on problem-solving.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least one year.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Ability to work outdoors and tolerate ambient weather temperatures.
• Physical capacity to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel extensively on a daily regional basis.
• Availability for occasional overnight stays and a flexible training schedule.
