Water Treatment Supervisor

$48.79 - $68.65 Hourly
$8,457.00 - $11,900.00 Monthly
The current vacancy is for Water Treatment Supervisor in the Water Department. Under general supervision, the Water Treatment Supervisor provides daily supervision and work direction for an assigned shift in the operation of the water treatment plant and related facilities, including assigning duties, providing training and assisting in the review of work performance of assigned personnel. Oversee the operation, inspection and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities including any adjusting necessary to maintain an efficient operation, and to meet regulatory requirements for drinking water. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or tested equivalent; and four (4) years’ experience in the operation of a water treatment plant. Possession of a Grade T4 Water Treatment Operator certificate issued by the State Water Resources Control Board and a valid California Class C driver’s license are also required upon appointment.
