Job Summary:
The IT Analyst provides technical support, business process assistance, and application management for district systems and technology services. This position collaborates closely with district staff, administrators, and vendors to identify issues, analyze and document system requirements, implement solutions, maintain operational procedures, and support district technology initiatives. The role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, developing training and support materials, maintaining applications and systems, and ensuring effective follow-through on assigned projects and support requests. The IT Analyst must
communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users, interpret and apply technical documentation, and promote a collaborative, customer-focused team environment that supports the district’s operational and instructional goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (Primary duties will include, but are not limited to)
• Designs, installs, maintains, and manages district server infrastructure and network services, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, WSUS, SCCM, print servers, and related
systems.
• Administers and supports mobile device management operations, including Intune, iPad enrollment, application deployment, configuration policies, Apple School Manager integration, Apple Caching services, procurement coordination, and classroom support features.
• Manages and maintains Google Administration services, including user and device management, security settings, device enrollment, and related administrative functions.
• Responds to and resolves end-user support tickets related to applications, software, servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems.
• Documents, tracks, and maintain detailed records of support requests, troubleshooting activities, resolutions attempted, and final outcomes.
• Prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates software enhancements, maintenance activities, upgrades, and defect resolution efforts.
• Performs hands-on technical support, including software installation and upgrades, hardware deployment, file backup implementation, and system/application configuration.
• Tests, validates, and follows up on system fixes and resolutions to ensure issues are fully resolved and systems are functioning properly.
• Communicates technical issues, system concerns, and application updates effectively with management, development teams, end users, and department leadership.
• Monitors, maintains, and improves the performance, reliability, and functionality of software applications and systems across the organization.
• Researches, identifies, and develops expertise in software applications and systems utilized throughout the district.
• Develops and maintains scripts, automation tools, and operational processes to support district technology systems and services.
• Collaborates with technology department staff to troubleshoot, support, and maintain all areas of district technology services.
• Participates in user groups, workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities to remain current with technology trends, systems, and application updates.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Information Technology
Qualifications Required: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years+ experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise software systems, applications, and infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting and managing Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/Entra, Group Policy, and identity management systems.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud-based infrastructure platforms, including Hyper-V and/or VMware, JAMF, Apple Business/School Manager, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Intune, and Google Admin.
• Strong knowledge and experience with endpoint management, device imaging, software deployment, and enterprise management tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and programming concepts using technologies such as PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, REST APIs, SDKs, WMI/LDAP, .NET, SQL, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, database concepts, SQL queries, reporting tools, and system integrations across multiple platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise technologies including SharePoint, Exchange, Mitel VoIP systems, PaperCut print management and related technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including network access control (NAC), switching, firewalls, and their impact on systems administration and application services.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyze, reverse-engineer, and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Previous experience supporting applications and technology systems within a K-12 educational environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of web technologies, including CSS and general web design concepts, is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, etc.) preferred
• Laserfiche document management, process automation experience preferred Key Competencies

Hours/Days: 40 hours per week, 260-day position

Physical Demands:
The duties of this job require the employee to regularly sit and use hands to type, finger, feel, or handle; reach
with hands and arms; and manually keyboard. Sitting for extended periods of time is required. Close and
color vision/inspection is also required.
The employee is also expected to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
