We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will assist in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in plumbing and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities
Assist licensed plumbers with the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
Participate in remodeling projects by helping to plumb new fixtures and reroute existing lines as necessary.
Support pipe threading operations and ensure proper installation techniques are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site to promote safety and efficiency.
Utilize basic math skills to measure, cut, and assemble piping accurately.
Collaborate with team members on field service tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship is delivered on every project.
Follow safety protocols at all times while working on-site.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing systems or construction practices is a plus.
Familiarity with blueprint reading is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers.
Must have work truck to tow with or van
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Previous experience in construction or carpentry is beneficial but not mandatory.
