Duties
Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
Support carpenters by providing necessary tools and materials promptly
Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and organizing work areas to maintain safety and efficiency
Carry out basic tasks such as packing lumber and other materials, assist with wood framing under supervision
Follow all safety protocols diligently, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Operate simple machinery and tools as trained and authorized by supervisors
Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and report them immediately
Qualifications
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment
