Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Travel throughout the greater Wenatchee area to engage with current and prospective customers via phone, email, or in-person visits.
Identify customer needs through a thorough discovery process, proposing solutions based on Jacob’s Heating offerings.
Demonstrate products and services, using marketing materials or other resources to support sales efforts.
Provide quotes for prices and credit terms, and prepare sales contracts and job packets for confirmed orders.
Secure necessary permits for work sold.
Schedule deliveries or service start dates based on the company’s delivery schedule.
Prepare business transaction reports and maintain expense accounts.
Collaborate with office staff to ensure account activities are current.
Enter new customer and sales data into a database.
Build and maintain relationships with referral contacts to generate new sales opportunities.
Investigate and resolve any customer issues related to deliveries, installations, services, or repairs.
Work weekends and evenings as needed to meet deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Proven track record in consultative, solution-based sales.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Basic technical/mechanical aptitude (no specific skills required).
Proficiency in basic computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
