Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Refrigeration Supervisor to lead our Ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and related mechanical equipment across various property sites. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Duties
Supervise, operate, monitor and coordinate maintenance of Ammonia, Freon , HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance activities.
Diagnose complex refrigeration issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
Test lines, components and connections for leaks.
Knowledge of OSHA, PSM procedures for systems over 10,000 lbs
Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations related to refrigerants like ammonia.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, schematics updates, equipment repairs, and service reports.
Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Experienced in Ammonia Refrigeration maintenance and trouble shooting electrical and PLC based control systems
Knowledge of condensers, evaporators, regulators, refrigerant content (hogh ot low) high/low compressor discharge temperatures, lubrication requirements, oil-water moisture in system, problems using anhydrous ammonia and freon.
Preventative maintenance, repairs and minor overhauls on utility and building equipment/services including but not limited to plumbing, air, vacuum systmes and HVAC.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately while applying standards in real-world scenarios.
