Zacklift International is a family-owned company based in Cle Elum, Washington. We design and manufacture heavy duty towing equipment used all over the world. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Welder. This position is responsible for welding large and small assemblies using the MIG and FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) processes. Candidates must have a can-do attitude and a passion for getting things done.
Responsibilities
Carry out skilled MIG and FCAW welding work
Use grinder to smooth and clean parts as required prior to and after welding
Set up welding equipment
Use over overhead cranes
Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding
Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment
Occasionally work with other departments to complete assignment.
Clean and maintain all welding equipment and tools and maintain a clean working area
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Qualifications
Local candidates only
A High school diploma or GED.
Attention to detail.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
At least 2 years’ experience using MIG or FACW welding processes.
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
Must have good eyesight.
