Job Description:
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Welder/Fitter position with a fabrication shop located in Corvallis, OR. The person in this position will be working on several projects utilizing blueprints and welding on mild steel and stainless steel.
PAY: $26-$31/hr
Fluxcore Welder/Fitter Responsibilities:
Most projects utilize flux core dual shield and hardwire MIG.
Other projects may require stainless MIG and/or stick knowledge.
Fit and fabricate from prints.
Operate shop equipment to cut to length and prep projects.
Work on a large variety of industrial construction and fabrication projects.
Fluxcore Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
1+ year of welding experience, 2+ years preferred
Able to read blueprints.
Fit and Fabrication skills required.
Excellent wirefeed MIG skills.
Strong ability to self-manage.
Must have proper tools to accomplish jobs.
Forklift and overhead crane operation experience.
Ability to read a tape measure and other layout tools proficiently.
Pass a drug screen.
Compensation:
$26-31/hr
