POSTED POSITION:
The CNC Mill Shop Machinist role is a critical part for L.E. Wilson's Team. You will be working with your hands daily, doing CNC machine set ups. This is a production atmosphere, so you will be running groups of varying sets of parts through the finishing process. This includes using cnc mills, and deburring prior to plating. To be successful in the role, this person must be self-driven, motivated, and able to follow detailed instructions. You report directly to the Shop Leads. We prefer 5 years or more experience in working on CNC mills, setups and programing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work with and around team members as a positive and contributing team member.
-Push/ pull wheeled carts of product.
-Lift and carry up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
-Stand on concrete for most of the work shift.
-Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
-Participate in the continuous improvement processes at L.E. Wilson INC
-Be detail-oriented, quality-minded, solution-oriented and team-participant.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be punctual; on time every day and ready to work.
-Be at least 18 years of age.
-Must be able to provide eligibility documents for employment in the United States
-Understand, speak, read, and write English; perform math calculations at an 8th grade level.
-Must learn to read calipers and micrometers accurately.
-Be willing to learn and follow work instructions to operate machinery safely.
-Be a self-starter, independent worker, reliable and prompt, have reliable transportation.
-Must have good eye-hand coordination and ability to multi-task.
-Must have basic computer skills.
-Must have a stable work history.
-Must be able and willing to work overtime as required with little notice.
-Must be flexible to perform other work assignments as needed.
-Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in machining processes
- Familiarity with CNC mill operation and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools effectively
- Experience with Mastercam, CNC programming, and SolidWorks is a plus
- 5 or more year experience running a CNC Mill with 5 axis.
