Role Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Core Operations Manager/Team Leader the IT Systems Analyst I ensures the smooth and effective operations of the credit union’s information and operating systems, hardware and software, training and support. Review quality of output and scrutinize causes of reruns, rejects, and/or delays. Maintain and modify the production schedule as required by the business units. Flexible scheduling required on occasion.
What You Will Be Doing:
Track and follow credit union’s processing requirements using system scheduler – currently Automic.
Follow credit union’s processing requirements for ACH, Share Drafts, Certificates, Visa Credit Card cycles orders, month end, quarter end, posting dividends, and payrolls
Using SFTP protocol and PGP encryption, ensure credit union’s vendor files, including but not limited to statements, cashletters, 3rd party files, draft returns, credit card orders, , and Visa files are sent and received according to specifications
Provide general support for other technology or data processing issues as instructed
Create and maintain technical documentation and recording library of back-office procedures
Maintain comprehensive documentation for change control policies
Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities
High level understanding of Enterprise Core applications' functionality and navigation.
Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities
Keep management and operational areas informed regarding data processing service interruptions. Keep interruptions to a minimum and schedule down time during off-peak time hours
Maintain all hardware in working order, ensuring that all systems are functioning within established parameters. Essential hardware used must be put back into service as soon as possible
Complete assigned period-end processing and reports on schedule, with zero errors.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Equivalent to a two (2) year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school; or equivalent experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of similar or related experience
Proficiency with standard office equipment, MS Office and Outlook software
Travel required to complete credit union training and approved professional development
