Dynamic Metals, Inc. was founded in 2012. Our company specializes in Steel Erection and Welding. In June of 2020, DMI earned the highly coveted American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Certified Steel Erector (CSE) and Metal Deck Endorsements (MEE).
We are licensed, bonded and insured in multiple states, and have completed projects in WA, ID, OR, MT, UT, TX and AK.
We are currently seeking multiple candidates for the following positions:
Ironworker/Welder
Desired combination of skills and knowledge include, but are not limited to:
Erect, install, bolt, join, etc. structural steel components
Welding (SMAW/self-shielded wire feed)
Operate AWPs (Ariel Work Platform), reach forklift/boom & other material handling equipment
Use of manual, power & pneumatic tools
Interpret measurement tools, e.g. tape measure, protractor
Understanding of blueprint reading & layout
Construction health & safety procedures
Pay: $20.00+ DOE
Work Experience:
Structural steel construction and/or welding experience is preferred. Though welding experience is helpful, this is not a 'welding only' position.
This role includes steel erection/connecting (ironworker), which includes erect, install, joining, bolting of structural steel components.
Willing to train a motivated candidate to weld, to earn a welding certification, who exhibits adequate layout comprehension and is a self-starter.
Travel:
Travel will be a necessity, utilizing a company vehicle or riding with a crew, as we regularly perform projects outside of Washington state.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record as you may drive a company vehicle.
Travel pay, lodging and per diem are provided.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed outdoors in a varying degree of weather conditions; rain, snow, high heat, etc.
Most work is performed 'working at height' utilizing AWP (Ariel Work Platforms) and fall protection.
Climbing, standing, bending, reaching, pulling & pushing for extended periods of time.
Proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times.
