Job Description:
UA Local 598 and Signatory Contractors are seeking licensed WA and/or OR journeymen plumbers for work in Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon for numerous new construction jobs in a variety of worksites including schools, hospitals, food processing plants, industrial facilities, and others.
Local 598 offers excellent pay and benefit packages including insurance for spouses and children and three retirement plans all paid for by your employer. Wage on the check for a journeyman plumber is 57.00 an hour and 35.81 in benefits to equal $92.81 per hour. There will be a set raise on June 1st every year. Anytime worked outside of the scheduled work day (4-10s or 5-8s) is paid at the overtime rate, either 1.5 times or 2 times the hourly rate.
All tools and PPE are provided by the employer.
Foreman/General Foreman are paid at 10/15/25% above the hourly rate of a journeyman.
