Accessing your veterans benefits may be as simple as 1-2-3 and we are here to help you! If you have questions regarding education benefits for veterans or other veteran-related questions, please contact our School Certifying Official at or call 509-453-0374.

Step 1

Perry Tech qualifies for all chapters of veteran’s aid. Select the links below to learn which benefit you may be eligible for.

Step 2

First-time applicants of Chapter 33, 30, 32, 1606, and 1607 education benefits must apply online.

For those who are transferring benefits (TOE) to their dependents under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®, you must first obtain approval from the Department of Defense (DOD). Once approved, your dependent can apply online.

To receive approval, visit the Department of Defense.

If you need to make a change to your benefits (for example, you're switching schools) you must submit a request a change of program or place of training. Visit to make a change.

After submitting the application, please print a copy. It will take three to four weeks for you to receive your Certificate of Eligibility letter (COE) in the mail. This letter will state your months and percentage of entitlement. You will need to provide a copy to the School Certifying Official.
