We provide a variety of services to help you succeed as a student and prepare you to launch a successful career when you graduate. The tabs below include information on Learning Resources and Career Services, as well as other helpful services provided on the Perry campus.

Learning Resources

Learning Resource Center

Get an edge on academic success. As a Perry student, resources are available to you in the Learning Resource Center and through the school’s partnership with Yakima Valley Libraries.

The Learning Resource Center offers access to:

  • Books and technical manuals
  • Computers
  • Wi-Fi
  • Rosetta Stone
  • ShopKey
  • OSHA and SP2 training
  • Program-specific resources

Perry Tech’s partnership with Yakima Valley Libraries provides you with 24/7 access to a collection of online libraries and databases.  In addition, the library offers computers, books, Internet/WiFi access, and research assistance.  Students are required to obtain a Yakima Valley Library Card upon enrollment.  

Perry’s Learning Resource Center is located off the Michael G. Smith Hallway. The center is open Monday, from 6:30 am to 7 pm, and Tuesday through Thursday, from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm (excluding school closures and holidays).

Career Services

Your career starts here. Perry Tech’s Career Services offers support to current students and graduates, providing individualized assistance with:

  • Job search planning
  • Resume and cover letter preparation
  • Researching potential employers
  • Completing job applications
  • Mock interviews

Career Services, located off the Michael G. Smith Hallway, is open Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Other Services
  • Perry Pantry – If you need short-term, emergency assistance with food for you or your family, visit our campus food bank, the Perry Pantry, located in Student Services.
  • Kimberly's – Serving affordable breakfast, lunch, and snacks Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 am to 4 pm. Located on the west end of Richard Matson Hall.
  • The Hangar – Supplies, gifts, and a variety of PTI apparel and gear are available at The Hangar, located adjacent to the Student Services Center. The Hangar is open Monday through Thursday, from 7 am to 4:30 pm. 
  • Textbooks – Textbooks are available through ecampus.com/perrytech. If you plan to order books before orientation, please contact The Hangar at 509.453.0374.
  • Free parking – To apply for a campus parking permit, please visit the Education/Attendance Office, or complete the form on my.perrytech.edu.
  • Harriet Circle – The Harriet Circle gathers monthly to support and connect our female students pursuing training in non-traditional trades and technical industries. To learn more, contact Career Services.
  • Veteran's Alliance – The Veteran's Alliance group is open to all veterans enrolled at Perry Tech. The group meets twice a month; visit our veterans page or check with the Vet Corps Navigator in Student Services for more information.
