Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements:
(a) legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico;
(b) who consistently live and identify as women
(c) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry
(d) who are either currently enrolled full-time in high school senior year and have been accepted into a post-secondary program at a two- or four-year, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (“ASE”) accredited, college, university or post-high school educational program (“College”), or are currently enrolled full-time in a College
(e) who will be enrolled full-time in College for the 2022-2023 academic year in a field of study focusing on automotive technology or relevant to careers in the automotive industry
(f) who have, in their current level of education, a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale. Participants who disregard these Official Rules are not eligible to participate.
The Women in Auto Care scholarship program continues to grow. The group’s scholarship funding began with $2,000 back in 2004 and has now expanded to $100,000 annually. Since 2004, Women in Auto Care has given $450K in scholarships.
