Participants will gain exposure to teaching and training techniques for STEM-related career choices. Educators will be able to incorporate the learning from this workshop within their classrooms. This experience will incorporate all four elements: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Participants will rotate through multiple classrooms and labs, receiving demonstrations and instructional techniques from seasoned instructors. STEM demonstrations will include applications related to business/accounting, medical assisting, automotive/ag/diesel, construction, electrical, robotics, plumbing, IT, HVAC, precision machining, and welding. Participants will be tasked with taking one demonstration back to their classrooms and applying it in the learning environment. Participants will report on the outcome.
