Perry Technical Institute has formed cooperative agreements with both Yakima Valley College (YVC) and Lower Columbia College (LCC) to provide graduates with an opportunity to earn both an Associate of Applied Science Degree from YVC and an Organizational Leadership and Technical Management: Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS-OLTM) degree from LCC along with their PTI certificate.
YVC’s unique partnership allows our students to expand their trade skill education while simultaneously providing a foundation of Human Relations, Communications, Mathematics, and a broad range of business-related electives. The following Perry Tech programs qualify to participate in the Combined Degrees pathway with YVC: Electrical Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology (HVAC/R), Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics Technology
By completing a designated PTI program and earning an additional 32 credits through Yakima Valley College, students can graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree from YVC and a certificate from Perry Tech. After paying the PTI registration fee, accepted students are eligible to begin the required courses at Yakima Valley College. YVC offers both online and in-seat classes. Previously earned credits may apply.

Combined Degrees Course List
Through our partnership with LCC, our graduates from Perry's Electrical, HVAC/R, Instrumentation, I.T. & Communication Systems, and Business Technology programs can transfer credit towards a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Organizational Leadership & Technical Management (BAS-OLTM).
LCC offers both full and part-time schedules, fully online. The BAS-OLTM is a career-focused, applied science degree to prepare graduates for positions in leadership, management, and supervisory roles in private, public, and nonprofit organizations. The program is designed for working adults with a range of professional technical associate degrees and a diverse set of work experiences and professional goals. LCC's program can help students gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively lead and manage others through the study of behavioral and leadership theory, professional communications, project management, workplace and environmental safety, conflict resolution, theories of decision making, change management, ethics, and diversity.
