Electrical Technology instructor and business owner: Meet our Faculty Member of the Year Charles Espinoza
As the owner of Yakima Electric, Charles balances a demanding schedule of responsibilities in business and education. He has consistently demonstrated his dedication to his students as their instructor, as well as his commitment to excellence in the Electrical field as a working professional in the industry. We are proud to name him Perry Tech’s Faculty Member of the Year.
Why his students nominated Charles:
From Perry Tech’s Dean of Education, Nathan Hull:
“Charles is a quiet leader who inspires students and coworkers by modeling the behaviors expected of industry professionals. He takes his role as an instructor at PTI very seriously. His lessons are prepared and delivered with the intent of grooming safe and efficient habits that students employ in labs and field work. He has incorporated state of the art technology, developing motor control labs that have enhanced the student learning process. Most importantly, Charles is an ethical employee and a role model for students, making him a natural choice for faculty member of the year.”
“I want every one of my students to be successful, long after they leave school. I want to be the instructor that I would have wanted for myself back in my Perry days, and I want them to see that hard work does and will pay off in the end.”
In addition to Charles, Perry Tech recognized the following individuals as Outstanding Faculty Members:
