Perry Technical Institute is a private, non-profit technical school in Yakima, Washington, offering 12 paths to successful careers. Harriet I. Perry founded Perry Technical Institute in 1939 as a lasting memorial to her late husband, Yakima business pioneer John M. Perry. Over the years, the school has developed a reputation in industry for providing students of all ages and walks of life with the skills and work habits they need to succeed in the workplace.
Perry Technical Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. Perry’s certificate programs are approved by the Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board and the associate degree program is approved by the Washington Student Achievement Council.
In 2012, Perry Technical Institute was one of 10 schools out of more than 800 nationwide to be named a School of Excellence by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
