Career Services

At Perry Tech, we want you to enter our doors and begin your program with your future career in mind. After all, what good is a goal with no plan?  During your time here, the Career Services Department challenges you to make the most of every opportunity to learn about career paths within your trade, so you are able to make a good, educated decision about what steps you take after graduation.

The Career Services Department helps you bring together your technical skills, experiences and developed soft skills to empower you to be the best candidate and employee for your potential employer. 

The Career Services Department offers individualized assistance in the following areas to current students and graduates:

  • Job search strategies
  • Resume and cover letter construction
  • Company and employment opportunity research
  • Job application completion
  • Strategic use of social media applications
  • Mock interviews (in-person, over the phone)

Computers are available for students and graduates to draft resumes and cover letters, research potential employers, and complete job applications.

Career Services is open Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm in the Learning Resources Center, located off the Michael G Smith Hallway. Contact career services at career.services@perrytech.edu or 509-453-0374.
