The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties supporting Engineering, Operations and R&D for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both process control systems and facility equipment with a specific focus on preventative and predictive maintenance activities.



WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:



-Repairs, maintains and installs industrial equipment such as: compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam generator/boiler, furnace, water treatment systems.

-Install and maintain industrial process piping systems with an adherence to plant piping standards.

-Facility/building maintenance may require some tasks in HVAC, electrical and carpentry.

-Use and interpret schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, blueprints and manuals related to plant equipment.

-Serve as an “on-call” technician during off-hours, weekends and holidays as part of the call out rotation to perform limited troubleshooting and repair mechanical equipment.

-Safety is paramount, you will proactively learn and follow all plant procedures and safety regulations.

-Ensures all daily activities are tracked/logged through the CMMS W.O. management system and are performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

-Maintains a high standard of housekeeping, workmanship and accountability.

-Follows good engineering practices to maintain a high level of quality and reliability.



WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:



-Requires a minimum of a HS Diploma or technical certificate and five (5) years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

-Looking for good general mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial mechanical maintenance: Welders, Machinists, Millwrights, Boilermakers, Pipefitters, and other industrial mechanical trades.

-Comprehensive knowledge of rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery.

-Proficient in diagnostics and root cause analysis.

-Demonstrated working knowledge and conformity to safety protocols such as: LOTO, PPE, Fall-Protection, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work and other life critical safety protocols.

-Experience working with aerial boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.



OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:



-Ability to weld Inconel and other exotic high temperature metals.

-Chemical Process Safety

-Process Safety Management



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



-Ability to stand for a minimum of two hours without assistance.

-Ability to lift 50 lbs.

-Ability to wear a full-face respirator for 30-60 minute periods.

-Must be able to operate aerial lift platforms to work at heights up to 26 feet on a limited basis, 14 feet on average when needed.

The base hourly range for this role is $32/hour to $40/hour ($1.50 additional per hour for the night or weekend shift). All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
