Position Summary:
The Network Administrator functions as a key contributor to the IT Department and overall organization to empower a creative, data driven culture to support the organization in achieving business goals by leveraging effective, progressive technology. The Network Administrator ensures the reliable performance & security of the IT network. Troubleshoots and resolves any network related hardware, software, user access or other problems. The Network Administrator participates in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, evaluate and implement network systems & software. Monitors network performance and usage to maintain security and reliability. The Network administrator is responsible for addressing business issues and developing the local network or Office 365 to solve those issues. Additionally, the Network Administrator coordinates new software releases, fixes, and upgrades. Recommends new features or changes to configuration, and workflows based on user feedback. Responsible to role model our Core Values.

Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversees system performance and troubleshooting issues.
Works directly with software vendors for product upgrades, optimization, and configuration.
Implements and enforces cyber security policies.
Performs system upgrades following new releases.
Maintains internal documentation for system configuration and processes.
Maintains computer networks and systems including software, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
Installs and configures network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
Communicates networking issues to other team members and management, especially in training users.
Top level support for desktop related issues.
Performs network design and capacity planning.
Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

Job requirements
Critical Core Competencies and Skills:

Administrative level management of Office 365 in a multi-user environment
Knowledge and application of cybersecurity best practices
Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory
Office 365 Power Platform
Working knowledge of SQL database structure, commands, queries.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skill
Must be highly organized with strong ability to multi-task
Able to assess competing demands and determine appropriate direction
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment; agile, flexible and resilient

Minimum Education and Experience:
Associate degree in a computer-related discipline required or equivalent combination of experience and education
Microsoft power platform level II certification
Microsoft 365 Admin certification
Basic understanding of CSIA security frameworks
Three to five years of networking experience, or a combination of education and experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
Two to five years in a system admin role for Office 365.
Proficient with or able to quickly learn networks and software used by the organization
