Role Summary: This job is responsible for repairing and maintenance of packing line equipment in the warehouse facility. Additional job requirements include but not limited to the following…

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Monitor chemicals levels, perform PM task, repairs to equipment as needed

· Ability to set up and operate saws, dill press, punches, grinders, welders and cutting torches

· Help where needed; assembly, painting, packing line maintenance

· Repair and maintain of shop equipment and facilities as required

· Must be available for flexible hours, overtime, and weekends

Education & Experience:

· Must have a High School Diploma

· 2-3 years’ experience in packing line maintenance

Pre-Employment Requirements:

· Drug test & background check required

Certificates & Licenses:

· None required

Equipment/Technology Skills:

· Ability to frequently use power and hand tools, welder, grinders, punches, etc.

· Experience with fruit industry equipment including tapers, strappers, sizers, baggers and conveyors.

· General knowledge of fluid power systems (pneumatics, hydraulics)

Physical Abilities:

· Ability to frequently perform various activities that require; sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling/pushing objects, climbing, grasp & reach

· Ability to speak clearly & communicate with others.

· Must have good vision, smell and hearing

· Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, fingers, and feet accurately and handle precise movements

· Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. from floor/ shoulder level

Workplace Environmental Conditions:

· Ability to tolerate potential harsh weather conditions for short or long periods of time

· Injury exposure to workplace hazards, warehousing machinery

· Regularly exposed to wet and dirty conditions outside and in warehouse environment
