WML, a California leader in water/wastewater construction, has historically self-performed earthwork, concrete, civil, and mechanical work to insure on time and on budget delivery of our projects. WML has expanded via a vertical integration of adding a System Integration Division to our self–performance repertoire due to the increased complexity of plant work.

We are seeking an experienced System Integration Division Manager who possesses both technical and leadership abilities with an exemplary track record of ethics and business success. This person should have experience in overseeing SI business operations including client relations, management of employees, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to successfully delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of System Integration (SI) division departments including sales, estimating, engineering, manufacturing, service, and administration. A candidate must be a self-motivated leader driven to maximize the WML SI division productivity, efficiency, and participate in WML’s significant design build efforts.

Objectives of this role:
•Develop strategic plan for optimizing productivity.
•Establish organizational effectiveness by further developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative programs.
•Direct core management team with focus on quality of service to the industry
•Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.
•Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth.
•Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.

Responsibilities:
•Oversee day-to-day operations; assign both short and long-term performance goals.
•Focus on WML existing Design Build projects while simultaneously developing new markets.
•Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
•Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively while providing optimum quality.
•Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
•Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees, enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
•Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved.

Required skills and qualifications:
•8-10 years of proven success in a managerial role
•Understanding of electrical engineering, PLC programming, SCADA programming, Networking & Telemetry, Field Service and Production efforts associated with water & wastewater System Integration projects.
•8-10 years of detailed understanding and proven track record of water & wastewater system integration practices
•Detailed understanding of public works projects and design build projects
•Strong decision-making ability
•Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
•Unmatched customer service
•Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
•Ability to motivate and lead employees.
•Strong working knowledge of SI operational procedures
•20-25% travel to various California offices and site locations

Preferred skills and qualifications
•Experience in conducting performance evaluations.
•Working knowledge of human-resources processes
