Job Description:
Willamette Falls Paper Company would be happy to consider recent Perry graduates as third year apprentices to fill our open Instrument Technician positions. We would also be interested in placing experienced Perry alumni at a level appropriate with their experience. If the selected candidate does not have the appropriate level of electrical licensing and is not qualified to sit for an electrical licensing test, we would provide the electrical apprenticeship. Pay for apprentices would range from $36.22to $45.27/hour at end of the 2-year apprenticeship.
Responsibilities include trouble shooting, repair and installation of instruments and controls for paper manufacturing equipment. Control systems range from electronic and pneumatic field instruments and single loop controllers to PLCs and DCSs.
We offer weekly work schedules that include a choice of four ten-hour or five eight-hour days with off-hour and weekend coverage shared amongst crewmembers. Benefits include 401K matching, medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer an on-site fitness facility.
