```Job Overview```
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes.
```Duties```
- Process incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers, insurance companies, and attorneys
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
-Create and maintain accurate patient health and financial records
- Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned
- Assist with patient care as needed
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or experience in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Quicken, or other accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
