Selah Creek Dental is looking to add a key player to join our team! We are growing so much that we would love to bring on a new treatment/financial coordinator into our office. We pride ourselves on our patients coming first and working together as a team. We are looking for someone with sales experience as the treatment plans can be extensive. No dental experience is necessary, we will train the right person. We are looking for someone who is comfortable presenting treatment plans and helping our patients with financial arrangements. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is outgoing, organized, detail-oriented professional, service minded, has impressive communication skills, and is willing to go above and beyond the basic responsibilities of the job to provide outstanding care for our patients. Bi-lingual is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares and presents treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all diagnosed treatment.
Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis.
Coordinate financial agreements for the patient's financial responsibility for dental treatment.
Schedules patient treatment appointments: reschedules patients that miss their appointment and calls patients that have not completed treatment.
Manages the dentist and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time.
Works with clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow, providing communication and information to the appropriate individuals.
Completes pre-authorization.
Handles treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork.
Effectively communicates and develops a strong working relationship with the dentist and promotes teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors.
Checks patients out
Answers and returns incoming calls from patients.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.

Education High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Focus on customer service.
Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner.

Proficient in basic computer applications with the ability to learn new software.
Demonstrate ability to perform basic arithmetic to understand general ledger and insurance benefits.
