Front Desk Patient Coordinator Job description
Peak Performance Sports and Spine Physical Therapy in Yakima, is seeking a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator. This position is focused on delivering extraordinary customer service. You must be able to:
handle patient schedule and multiple provider schedules across 2 clinics
multi-line phone system
manage new referrals and new patient accounts
process incoming fax and mail throughout the day
verify insurance benefits
manage insurance authorizations
process medical record requests
collect patient payments and answer balance questions
ability to communicate with other clinics and law offices regarding patient records
You must be a talented multi-tasker, be detail-oriented, and love to work in a busy environment. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is organized, and is able to effectively prioritize time-sensitive tasks to meet deadlines. You should have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to grow within our company and be a team player. Be part of an experienced and capable administrative team.
Preferred but not required: experience with WebPT and in medical office administration setting.
